‘Closer’ is the new single from London-based artist Eden Rain. It’s a melancholic, heartfelt track that lets her voice do the heavy lifting. She sings with tender sentimentality about love and loss, over a slow-moving accompaniment defined by string sounds and distant reverb. “I wrote this song about my experience of loving someone who is going through grief.
